Delaware NFL Parlays To Begin

Harness Tracks of America has reported that despite severe court restrictions, Delaware sports betting gets underway this week at the state’s three tracks, with $3,000 state limits on National Football League parlays of three games or more.

Dover Downs director of marketing Ann W. Stack has informed HTA that the million-dollar Pro Football Game -- announced by HTA last Friday as being played at Pompano Park and Gulfstream in Florida -- will also be offered at Dover Downs.

The million-dollar Pro Football Game requires a player to correctly select 201 of 245 NFL games in order to win the grand prize. Weekly prizes are also offered.

On August, 24, a federal appeals court ruled that the state of Delaware's bid to legalize single-game sports wagering be blocked, citing a violation of a 1992 federal ban on sports wagering.
