The four-race matinee Saturday afternoon (Sept. 8) at the Ohsweken Fairgrounds featured two track-record miles.
Kicking off the card, Flysantanna delivered as the 1-9 favourite in 2:01.1 to take the $5,000 pace and returned $2.20 to win. The time lowered the previous mark of 2:01.4 set by Moon Lake. Lyons Fairhanover then blew out her competition and the toteboard in the next race with a 17-1 upset in 2:07, equaling the track record for three-year-old pacing fillies set by Profit Mistress. She paid $37.30 to win.
The overall track record of 1:58.4 was set in 2017 by Canadian Edition, who at the time was trained by Victor Puddy and driven by Eddie Green for then-owner Keith Cassell of Smiths Falls, Ont.
