Frank Chick's Majestic Mistress ($3.00, Mike Cole) was a repeat winner in the $16,000 Open Trot Wednesday (Sept. 5) at Harrington Raceway with a 1:55.2 triumph.
Majestic Mistress left alertly from post position 5 as the public's 1-2 betting choice and marched through fractions of :28.3, :58.4 and 1:27.3 before drawing away by multiple lengths at the top of the stretch and to the wire. Mr Right was second with Battle Mage third. It was the 10th career win for the Kevin Lare-trained five-year-old daughter of Majestic Son, who debuted in Delaware impressively on Aug. 28 with a 1:54.3 win.
Bill Sartin's A Nashty Business ($5.40, Ross Wolfenden) prevailed in 1:56 in the $11,000 Open II Trot for trainer Joe Hunderptfund Jr. All Shoes On Deck was second with Uwantapieceofme third.
