Jim Marino's stable enjoyed a successful Wednesday night (Sept. 29) at Fraser Downs, accounting for four winners on the 11-race program.

Marino, who sits a clear second in the training table at Fraser behind Kelly Hoerdt, teamed up with Western Canada's top driver, Brandon Campbell, for three wins. The high-powered tandem struck with Machabyebaby ($3.80, 1:55.1) in a $6,000 claiming pace, If Only Id Known ($4.30, 1:55.3) in a $7,250 conditioned event for fillies and mares, and Bad Rossa ($4.10, 1:58) in a $6,500 distaff event — the latter pair being owned in partnership by Marino, as well.

Marino completed his training grand slam in the finale, when Riverunsnappy ($5.70) and driver Kelly Hoerdt rallied first-over for a 1:57.4 win over Souldust in a conditioned claiming pace for fillies and mares.

Campbell completed a driving grand slam a race earlier, piloting Like A Shadow ($3.80) to a 1:54.3 score for his second win in as many starts this meet for trainer Richard Lancaster.
