It was another multiple win performance for trainer Mandy Archer during Thursday’s 11-race card at Rideau Carleton Raceway, as the conditioner sent out three winners – all of which were betting favourites.
Archer watched Four Finger Floyd cruise to an easy win in Race 2. Guy Gagnon mapped out the winning trip for the gelding who stopped the teletimer in an eye-catching clocking of 1:52.2.
Fast forward all the way to Race 10 to find Archer and Gagnon joining forces again to win with Ynothos in 1:54.3. The duo came right back to capture Race 11 with Thinkingofyoubabe in 1:55.
Archer is heading into the final three month of the season with personal best records for wins (72) and earnings ($331,980). She’s in position to win the trainers’ title at Rideau, as well, thanks to the 17-win lead she has on Guy Gagnon in that category.
