George Leager's Slick Tony notched his 29th career win Monday in the $20,000 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.2.

The race marked the local return of pacing superstar Wiggle It Jiggleit, who was making his second start back off a three-year layoff for owners George Teague Jr. and Teague Racing Partnership.

Slick Tony stole the show however, overcoming post eight for driver Russell Foster to lead most of the way off pedestrian like fractions, while Wiggle It Jiggleit battled off stalling cover and rallied well from three wide position on the final turn to finish third. Ballerat Boomerang followed Slick Tony throughout and held second.

Slick Tony, a four-year-old No Spin Zone stallion, set fractions of :28, :56.4 and 1:25 before sprinting the final quarter in :27.2 for a confident one-length victory.

Slick Tony surpassed $153,000 in seasonal earnings with the win and more than $529,000 in his career. He paid $5.20 to win.

Allan Davis had three wins. Foster, Corey Callahan and Ross Wolfenden each had driving doubles.
