J And M Racing’s Embassy Seelster notched her third win of season Tuesday with a 1:53.1 victory for driver Allan Davis in the $18,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway.
The Doug Lewis-trainee surged off cover approaching three-quarters and sprinted home for a one-length win over Monochromatic and Sucha Bad Girl. It was the second win at the current Harrington meet for Embassy Seelster. The four-year-old Modern Art mare has earned more than $123,000 lifetime. She paid $7.40.
For the second straight night, a driver registered five wins. Following Jon Roberts aforementioned performance on Monday was driver Victor Kirby, who piloted five winners on the 14-race program capped in the last race with Keith Pippi’s Lounge Act ($3.20), who is trained by Kirby.
Allan Davis, Montrell Teague, George Dennis and Jim Morand each had two.
