Horse Racing Alberta has announced that Chief Operating Officer Terry Keyko will step down from his position at the end of the year
.
Keyko held various roles with Alberta's government for over 30 years before taking the COO role in February. Personal reasons were cited for the decision.
According to thehorses.com, HRA Board Chair Shirley McClellan stated "the Board was disappointed but respected Terry’s decision and would work with him over the coming months to determine the best way forward in terms of the future leadership of Horse Racing Alberta."
