George Leager’s Slick Tony equalled the track record for three-year-old pacing colts at Harrington Raceway Monday with a 1:51.4 triumph in an $11,000 Open II event.

The No Spin Zone-Queen Kathy colt set all the fractions for driver Montrell Teague and was an easy winner over Dialamara and Qs Cruise in achieving his 16th career win in 22 starts.

Trained by Leager, the mark tied the record set by Bags To Riches in 2017. Slick Tony has now banked more than $335,000 in his career. He paid $3.20 to win.

Later on the card, Slick Tony’s half-brother, two-year-old Son Of A Lynx would win his second straight race in 1:57.1. A son of Southwind Lynx, he is also owned and trained by Leager.

Teague and Russell Foster each had three wins on the program.
