Undefeated trotter I Like My Boss ($2.20, Jon Roberts) notched his 14th consecutive win at Harrington Raceway on Wednesday with a 1:56.4 win and broke his own track record in the process.

Owned by trainer Bob Shahan along with Jimmy Parsons and Ashley Parsons, the Don Boss Vita gelding settled in third early before clearing early leader Dribble Drive shortly after the half-mile in :59.4 seconds. He led the field of seven past three-quarters in 1:28.3 before opening up a four length lead at the wire over Sterling Charisma, who rallied for the place spot.

I Like My Boss has never tasted defeat in his 14 lifetime starts and has earned nearly $230,000 along the way. It was one of three driving wins on the night for Roberts.

In the $17,000 Open Trot, Dawn Gannon and Blackhorse Six Stables’ Pittstop Ruthie ($14.80, Tony Morgan) was victorious off a pocket trip in 1:55.4. Spunky Jack cut the mile and finished second, while Classic Filly finished third.

Jim Morand and Allan Davis each had a driving double.
