J N J circled a field of seven in the $2,500 Central Home Improvement Invitational Pace featured at Inverness Raceway on Sunday to notch his six straight victory.
With Bruce McGean in the sulky, the seven-year-old Rambaran gelding rallied wide from the back of the pack at the third quarter mark and held off Silver Dragon, driven by David Ratchford, to win in 1:59 flat by a quarter of a length. Art I Special and Alex MacQuarrie finished nearly two lengths behind in third.
J N J paid $5.60 to win as the odds-on favourite.
Dan Lewis of Blacketts Lake, N.S. owns the brown pacer, who has done nothing but win since joining the Stephen Lewis stable in August.
