The inaugural Winner's Circle Speed Sale, the first Michigan yearling Standardbred sale in 16 years, was held on Thursday afternoon (Sept. 29) at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds.
Nordicsfinallegacy, Hip 34, was the sale topper with a final bid of $32,000. The Keystone Nordic-Wicked Woman colt was consigned by Harvey Byler.
Deciding Factor, a Bondi Hanover-Pretty Soon colt consigned by Aura Petersheim, brought a $27,000 bid from Gene Schrauber.
Also among the top priced yearlings were Majestic Marco, a Keystone Nordic-Marcata Hanover colt purchased from the Overtime Stables consignment, and B Happy, a Megatron-Tammibest filly consigned by Brett Boyd Racing. They sold for $25,000 each.
