Trainer Kyle Bossence is on the verge of wrapping up the training title for 2021 at Grand River Raceway, and on Monday evening he produced a three-win performance on the 10-race card.
Bossence watched Colin Kelly guide Frownies Miracle to a 1:56.1 triumph in Race 5 followed by a rallying score with Acrobat Hanover (1:56.1) in Race 8.
Kelly and Bossence then came back for a front-stepping triumph in Race 10 with If You Knew Susie in a time of 1:57.1.
The productive night at the office gives Bossence 27 wins on the season at the Elora oval. His next closest pursuer in the standings is trainer Gerard Demers. He’s racked up 17 wins as the track heads into its final card of racing of the season on Wednesday evening.
