Designs On You ($2.20, Allan Davis) was the fastest of three Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) two-year-old stakes winners for pacing fillies on Tuesday (Sept. 26) at Harrington Raceway.
Owned by Rodney Wyatt, Kevin Peck and Gerald Burbage, the Eddie Dennis trainee was a 1:58.2 winner as the short-priced favourite over American Marvel and Slipinsidewayz. Designs On You earned her first career win.
Eddie Davis' Novas Baby Girl ($3.40, Davis) won the first division in 1:59.2 by open lengths over Classic Diamond and Bad Nella Monella. The Nova Artist filly earned her first lifetime win.
Jo Ann Looney-King's Curtsyforpurrseco ($2.10, Ross Wolfenden) won the remaining division in 1:59 over Bellas Dream and Seamsalilsassy. The Roddys Bags Again filly notched her second career win for trainer Jim King Jr.
Brenda Teague Inc.'s Tae ($3.60, Tony Morgan) was a 1:53.3 winner in the $20,000 Fillies and Mares Open. The eight-year-old daughter of Im Gorgeous led most of the way in her fourth win of the season for owner/trainer Teague. Best Head West was second with Divine Deo third.
Morgan had four wins on the card, while Allan Davis had three.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule until Oct. 18.
