North State Street Stable’s Monochromatic was a front end winner for driver Brad Hanners in Tuesday’s $20,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway in 1:53.2.
The seven-year-old Dream Away mare shot to the front from Post 3 and sped through fractions of :27.2, :56.1 and 1:24.2 before using a :29-second closing quarter to post the half-length win over VC Atom N and Kellytuck Sophie.
Trained by Dylan Davis, it was the ninth win of the year for Monochromatic, who recently surpassed $520,000 in career earnings.
Tony Morgan registered five driving wins on the program, while George Dennis had three.
