After having a taken a pocket ride through the fractions, the Julie Walker-trained and Sylvain Filion-driven LMC Bumble Bee (Muscle Mass—Hornby Gem) prevailed in the second of the morning’s two-year-old contests (Race 3). The filly took her qualifying mark at first asking with a 2:02.2 effort. Owned by Loredana and Frank Cirillo, of Kleinburg, Ont., LMC Bumble Bee sat second through the fractions (:30.3, 1:01.3, 1:31.4) before popping out in the lane and hitting the wire first.
