Super Chapter, who was idle, remained No. 1 for the second consecutive week in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, released on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The top five spots were unchanged in the Week 15 edition of the poll, but there was shifting among the next five in the rankings.
Super Chapter was followed by Kentucky Championship Series winner Brandon Blvd, idle Apex, idle On To Norway and Ohio Breeders Championship division winner Big Ranger.
Nezuko Kamado S finished fourth in her Kentucky Championship Series final and dropped from sixth to ninth. She was replaced in sixth by Metro Pace elimination winner Shalom Hanover (up from eighth), with Kentucky Championship Series winner Wall Of Fame following in seventh (up from ninth).
Sidelined Miki And Minnie slid from seventh to eighth while idle Best Chip remained 10th.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which will continue weekly on Wednesdays through the Grand Circuit season, does not determine year-end awards. The members of the United States Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus U.S. Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
