Stakes-winning sophomore colt J B Bolt dominated a field of Inverness Raceway's top pacers on Sunday afternoon in the featured finale.
Driver Redmond Doucet sent the Force Of Life colt to command from post four in the $1,000 Winners Over Pace and the duo never looked back, posting a two length victory in 1:58 flat. Bonnys Mac followed the leader through fractions of :29.4, :58.2 and 1:28.2 to finish second while sophomore Jacobs Jackpot came in third.
J B Bolt now sports six sophomore wins on his resume, including divisions of the Bill Quigg Memorial and Atlantic Sires Stakes, for local owner Raymond MacKinnon.
J B Bolt's trainer, Walter Walker, also picked up a victory earlier on the card with Truth Or Dare, driven by Ryan Campbell, taking a stroll down victory lane for the 52nd time in his career.
