Hot off a winning steer in the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold eliminations at Flamboro Downs in the afternoon, Anthony MacDonald arrived at Grand River Raceway in just the nick of time to call race two on the September 21 Fun & Frivolity Friday Night card.

MacDonald, a resident of Guelph, Ont., is the 14th guest announcer of 2012 in the track’s popular From Bike To Mic series.

His animated call charted the course of Sweetsunsetspecial and driver Bill Davis, as the pair stormed to a 10-length win over Designer and Keystone Eliza.

Davis also trains the five-year-old Camluck mare for his wife Laurie Anne Davis and Jeff Elchuk. The win was her fifth from 22 starts this season.

Laughing through the whole thing again -- my favourite line is "" don't worry about the back 3 they're out of it"
