Starting positions for the fillies in next Monday’s Ontario Sires Stakes Gold final at Grand River Raceway were decided last night during a live draw on the
Tarmac Show.
Since only seven three-year-old pacing fillies were entered for the OSS Gold eliminations which were scheduled to be contested on September 20, the elims were cancelled and all fillies were declared directly into the final on September 27.
The $40,000 purse for the Gold elim will be added to the regular purse for the final, thus the total purse for the Gold final will be $170,000.
The field for the OSS Gold final (in post position order) appears below.

4. Bay Girl
5. Ice Ice Baby
6. Windsong Grand Ave
7. Putnam MacKenzie
According to OSS rules concerning the points for the Super Final, the 100 points from the cancelled elimination round will be distributed equally between the seven horses which were entered to the event.
