Remarkable De Vie ($3.60, Pat Berry) recorded his ninth win of the year in the $20,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway on Wednesday (Sept. 20) in 1:55.2.
Trained by Traci Berry, Remarkable De Vie seized control early from post four and never looked back in an easy win over Fifty Ways and Secret Jet. Owned by Tlb Racing, the seven-year-old Charlie De Vie gelding increased his seasonal earnings to $123,460.
Driver Art Stafford Jr. had four wins on the card. Montrell Teague and Victor Kirby each had a double.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule through Oct. 18. Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes action for two-year-olds will kick off the Sept. 25-27 week of racing as the pacing colts and geldings will be in action Monday, the pacing fillies on Tuesday, and trotters on Wednesday. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
