Tobinator teamed up with Corey MacPherson to slice Three Truths’ win streak short at three Thursday, Sept. 20 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Tobinator went to front in the $2,350 featured Preferred 2 Pace and cut out fractions of :28.1, :57.1 and 1:26.1 before closing the mile out in 1:54.4. MacPherson engineered the winning trip for trainer Trevor Hicken and owner William Hicken of Vernon Bridge, P.E.I.
Rockin Indy was second while Three Truths had his win streak cut short at three while finishing third and completing the $164.70 triactor.
Frill Seeker captured the $1,950 Open Trot at 8-1 odds with Arsenault at the lines for the 2:00.2 victory for owner Ebbsfleet Stable of Stratford, Ont. Second went to Majian Tango while Glencove Carter was third.
