Cloaked In Glory savoured another moment in the limelight on Wednesday night at Inverness Raceway when he extended his current win streak to four in the featured

$900 Open Pace.

Frankville, N.S. resident Don Kennedy, who owns trains and drives the eight-year-old pacer, sent his charge to the front from the inside post position and led the field to the wire. The son of Armbro Operative-Looks Like Glory, bypassed early panels of :29.4 and 1:01.3 before favourite Aahm Cruisin (Ryan Campbell) applied pressure past three-quarters in 1:30.4. Remaining focused on one goal, Cloaked In Glory pressed on down the lane and reached the wire just in time for the 1:59.2 triumph.

Once again, Aahm Cruisin settled for second, finishing a close quarter-length behind, while pocket-sitter Lexus Bandito (Joe Campbell) rounded out the top three.

Cloaked In Glory visited the winner’s circle for the fifth time this year in 17 outings and 28th time of his career. The win pushed his lifetime earnings to $88,405.
