Harness racing enthusiasts, it's time to showcase your passion!
Standardbred Canada (SC) is thrilled to announce the 2024 Heart of Harness Racing Calendar and we're inviting all photographers, amateur and professional alike, to submit their best harness racing-themed photos for consideration. This is your opportunity to have your work featured in a calendar that celebrates the beauty, athleticism and heartwarming moments of the Standardbred racing world.

Submission Guidelines:
- Eligibility: All photographers, whether you're a fan capturing the action from the grandstands or a professional working trackside, are welcome to submit their photos.
- Photo Themes: We are looking for high-quality images that capture the essence of harness racing. This includes action shots, behind-the-scenes moments, the bond between horses and humans, and any other aspect that represents the heart of harness racing.
- Technical Specifications:
- High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI).
- Landscape orientation.
- JPEG or TIFF format.
- No watermarks or added text on the images.
- Full colour (B/W won’t be accepted).
- Submission Limit: You can submit up to three of your best photos.
- Photo Credits: Please include your name, contact information and a brief description behind each photo submitted.
- Deadline: The submission deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023. Late submissions will not be accepted.
How to Submit:
Email your photo submissions to [email protected] with the subject line "2024 Calendar Photo Submission - [Your Name]." Please ensure your photos meet the technical specifications mentioned above and include the following details in your email:
- Your full name
- Location
- Contact information (email and phone number).
- A brief description behind each photo submitted.
- Confirmation that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions for submission.
Selection Process:
SC will review all submitted photos and select 12 images to be featured in the 2024 Standardbred Canada Heart of Harness Racing Calendar. The featured photographers will be notified by email.
Terms and Conditions:
By submitting your photos, you agree to grant Standardbred Canada the rights to use, reproduce and distribute your images for the purpose of creating and promoting the 2024 calendar. You retain ownership of your photos and will be credited accordingly.
