Sing Like An Angel added another Mares Open victory to her impressive seasonal record on Saturday at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, overcoming an assigned outside post position and wiring the field in 1:54.4.

The heavy 2-5 favourite in the $12,500 distaff feature, Sing Like An Angel crossed over to command and led her six rivals through fractions of :27.1, :56.3 and 1:25.3 before drawing off by four and a quarter lengths when Rummys Command launched her attack. Rummys Command ducked into the two-hole entering the final turn and chased Sing Like An Angel home in second-place while Skade finished third.

The Bettors Delight mare is owned by trainer/driver Travis Cullen, Jodie Cullen, Keith Hannah and Margaret Hannah.

Sing Like An Angel is now a 12-time winner with just one off-the-board finish in 20 seasonal starts. She has earned $84,460 in purses already this year to boost her career bankroll to $177,614.
