Artrageous was a 1:52.2 winner for driver Art Stafford Jr. Tuesday at Harrington Raceway in the featured $15,000 Mares Open.
Owned by Bonnie Benson, J Johannsen, Art Stafford, and H Case, it was the four-year-old Art Major mare's 11th win of her career. Artrageous set all the fractions and held off Shesarocker and On Your Six for the win.
Artrageous was a top filly at three and banked more than $112,000 as a sophomore competing on the New York Sires Stakes circuit. She paid $4.80 to win.
Victor Kirby, the meet's leading driver, had four wins on the card. Stafford, Jr. and Russell Foster each had three.
DSBF two-year-old trotters will complete their first leg to headline the Wednesday program.
