Driver Gilles Barrieau capped off a five-win performance on Sunday at Exhibition Park Raceway aboard Md Hardlys Success in the featured $1,500 Winners Over Pace.

The track's leading reinsman earned his first victory of the day in the second race with the Maurice Brown-trained Electric Rock ($5.90). He also won the fourth race with Mischievous Luck ($2.90) for trainer John Osborne, the seventh race with his own pupil Cecils Express ($2.30), and the eighth race with Canaco Quickset ($12.10) for Serge Otis.

In the 10th race feature, Md Hardlys Success ($3.40) and Barrieau trailed the five-horse field early on, but rallied home off second over cover to win in 1:59.3 by one length for conditioner Andrew Ward. Favourite Real Bond finished second and Man In Pink was third. The five-year-old gelded son of Western Success, a winner of 10 races in 29 starts this year, is owned by Bill Smith and Wayne Watson of Saint John, N.B.
