The reigning Horse of the Year at Fredericton Raceway, Elm Grove Camrose, was razor sharp on Thursday at as she rolled to a career-best clocking of 1:57.3
in the feature race.
In rein to Todd Trites, Elm Grove Camrose laid down fractions of :29, :58 and 1:27.4 before scooting home in :29.4 to post his fourth win of the season for owner/trainer Paul Burgess of Fredericton, NB. The four-year-old son of Rayson Hanover defeated Breeze Hanover and Igoddarocket en route to posting his eighth lifetime score.
Racing resumes with a 10-race program on Sunday afternoon at Exhibition Park in Saint John beginning at 1:00 p.m.
