FBs Terror and Bay Girl had no problem delivering on their pari-mutuel promises winning their respective $40,000 OSS Gold Series eliminations for two-year-old pacing fillies at Flamboro Downs on Thursday afternoon

Scott Zeron took full advantage of the rail in the first elimination by sending FBs Terror to immediate command. The daughter of Western Terror-Speedy Shopper rolled through panels of :27.1, :56.2 and 1:25.3 before punching home in :29.2 to seal the deal in a career-best clocking of 1:55. It more than three-lengths back to runner-up Western Silk and third-place finisher Precious Cammill.
Mario Macri conditions the three-time winner for partners Michael Guerriero and FB Racing of Moffat, ON. The filly has banked $133,686 in her first nine assignments.
Fresh off a second-place finish in a division of the Champlain Stakes against Grand Circuit foes, Bay Girl front-stepped to a 1:56.2 score in the second elimination for the tandem of driver Mario Baillargeon and trainer Ben Wallace.
The daughter of Royal Mattjesty-Whitley Bay was limbed out at the quarter pole in :27.4 before being allowed to cross over in front of the field. She threw down middle splits of :56.4 and 1:26.2 before used a 30-second final quarter to seal the deal by a little more than a length in a time of 1:56.2. Exotic Pleasure was second and Kims Quest rounded out the top three.
Bay Girl, who is owned by Michael and Sam and Pat Sergi of Canton, NY, now boasts a 3-2-1 record in just six lifetime starts. The $20,000 payday bumped her earnings to $151,122.
The top four finishers from each of Thursday’s eliminations will return for the final next Thursday at Flamboro Downs. Here’s how they’ll line up on the starting gate:
