Euchred scored a career moment while vanquishing his rivals in the Sunday afternoon featured at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

Corey MacPherson was at the lines of the Walter Walker trainee as the eight-year-old son of Shadow Play collected his 60th win when taking the $2,700 featured pace. Sent the betting favourite, Euchred grabbed the lead and waltzed through splits of :27.3, :56 and 1:25.1 before kicking home for a 1:54.4 victory. Heart And Soul finished second while Hunger Pangs completed the triactor. Kayla Habicht-Walker of Inverness, N.S., holds the ownership papers of the winning pacer.
