An article regarding the second session of the State of New Jersey's Summit on Gaming indicates that Jon Hansen, the author of the controversial Hanson Report that was absent from the first two sessions, is confirmed to be

in attendance for the third installment, which is slated for Wednesday, September 29 at Monmouth Park.

During the second session, which took place Friday, September 10 at the Meadowlands Racetrack, Assemblyman Ralph Caputo said that Hanson's absence from the first two sessions was "insulting," according to a report on politickernj.com.

The report quoted Senator Jim Whelan as saying "Mr. Hanson committed to being at the Monmouth hearing."

The article also quoted Senator Ray Lesniak as calling Hanson's investigations leading up the published report "secretive." The article also states several professionals that testified before the panel during the second session said they were never approached by Hanson.
