Chapter Seven’s unbeaten streak will be on the line on Thursday, September 16 in the $61,000 Harold Dancer, which will be contested prior to the betting card at Freehold Raceway

.

The flawless son of Windsongs Legacy has won all four of his starts this year, including a 10-length victory in his last outing, the $100,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final at Freehold on September 3. Chapter Seven's time of 1:57.2 was a stakes record.

The Linda Toscano-trainee now has earnings of $87,000 for Richard Gutnick of Blue Bell and Gary Cocco of Eddystone, Pennsylvania. He is once again paired with driver Jeff Gregory and will leave from outside Post 5.

The Harold Dancer Trot is restricted to New Jersey-sired two-year-old colts and geldings. Post time for the race is 12:15 p.m.

The filly companion event, the $59,000 Marion Dancer, will be contested on Wednesday, September 15, also with a 12:15 p.m. post.

Sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey, the Harold Dancer is named in memory of the respected New Jersey-born trainer-driver. The Harold Dancer Filly Trot was renamed the Marion Dancer in 2010 to honour Harold’s wife.

Keystone Savage’s 1:59.1 clocking in the 2005 Harold Dancer is the stakes record since the event was moved to Freehold in 2001.
