Odds-on Bit Of A Legend N was more than good enough Saturday, September 9, winning Yonkers Raceway’s $50,000 Open Handicap Pace.

In play early from assigned post position No. 6, Bit Of A Legend N overtook Somewhere in L A, making the lead before a :26.4 opening quarter. Slowing the tempo to a :56.4 half, Bit Of A Legend N continued around the oval, passing three-quarter in 1:25.1 before winning in 1:52.3 over Cooperstown, Somewhere In L A, and The Real One.

For Bit of a Legend N, an eight-year-old son of Bettor’s Delight owned by Harry von Knoblauch Stable and trained by Peter Tritton, it was his sixth win in 20 tries this season. Driven by Jordan Stratton, he paid $3.70.
