A pocket-sitter proved to be too much to fend off in the $100,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Championship final for three-year-old trotting fillies Thursday afternoon

at Freehold Raceway.

So You De Vie and driver George Brennan were content to sit in the pocket until the stretch and then overtake Littlemscantbwrong to win the event in 1:58.4 for trainer Oyvind Hegdal.

So You De Vie, by Yankee Glide, won by one and three-quarter lengths over Littlemscantbwrong. Susquehanna Belle finished third.

The victory was So You De Vie's third from 12 starts this year.
