Andrew Glassmeyer's Sweet Angel Boy ($6.20) was a 1:51.3 winner in the $24,658 Open Handicap Pace on Monday, Sept. 1 at Harrington Raceway.

Driven by Ross Wolfenden, Sweet Angel Boy left hard from the rail to command pole position through fractions of :27.2, :56.3 and 1:24.1 and drew away by 3-1/2 lengths for a 1:51.3 win over Hundred Dollar Man (Montrell Teague) and Effingham (Art Stafford Jr.). The seven-year-old Sweet Lou-Aries Angel gelding notched his third win of the year in nine starts for his owner/trainer. He was the 2024 Harrington Horse of the Meet.

The Labour Day program started with a 6-1 upset as pacer Lyons Black Magic ($15.60) utilized a powerful stretch kick to win the opener in 1:52.1 for driver Barton Dalious and owner/trainer Michael Davis. Dalious took both halves of the double in upset fashion as The Wiz Kids Stable's Master Rigger ($15.80) won the second in 1:52.4. Dalious won three races on the card, with two winners trained by his father, Bart Dalious.

In the sub-featured $19,863 Winners Over Pace, Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Stephen Iaquinta's Joker On Jack ($4.40) was a 1:53.1 winner over Spicey Major A (Ross Wolfenden) and Discovery (Jim Morand) for driver Corey Callahan and trainer Eric Ell.
