Atlantis Sinks Foes In Truro Feature

For the second straight start, Atlantis was firing on all cylinders en route to posting another victory in the top class at Truro Raceway.

Atlantis, in rein to Marc Whebby shot to the lead in the Friday feature and cruised through panels of :28.4, :59.2 and 1:29.3 before using a :28.2 closing quarter to seal the deal. He was 2-1/2 lengths better than Catch Twenty Two in 1:58. Rockin Party rallied late to finish third.

Emmons Mackay trains the three-year-old son of Well Said-Plant A Kiss for Wayne Whebby of Dartmouth, NS. Sent off as the 1-5 favourite, Atlantis won for the fifth time this season and for the ninth time in her career. He’s banked over $30,000 to date.
