Frenchfrysnvinegar has done her fair share of winning this season, but going into her Tuesday evening assignment at Mohawk it had been quite some time since she’d had her picture taken

.

The five-year-old daughter broke out of her mini slump for trainer Jeff Gillis, who continues to lead all conditioners when it comes to winning races on the WEG circuit this year. Frenchfrysnvinegar followed the marching orders of driver Jody Jamieson, who dictated the terms of the temp through panels of :26.3, :56.3 and 1:25.3 before feeling fierce pressure from Andover America. That foe actually gained a short lead in deep stretch only to get hauled down by a resurgent Frenchfrysnvinegar. She used a :27.2 final quarter to win by a head over Andover America in 1:53. Stick Man Moe rounded out the top three in the $35,000 Preferred Trot.

David Smith of Rockwood, ON owns the productive trotting mare, who improved her 2011 record to 6-6-1 in 17 starts with the win. The $17,500 payday bumped this year’s earnings to $158,100 while her lifetime total climbed to $419,810.
