Another Big Saturday For Zeron At Flamboro

Young reinsman Scott Zeron continued on his quest to the top of the Canadian drivers standings. For the second consecutive Saturday, the 21-year-old resident of Oakville, ON won five races during Flamboro Downs’ card

Zeron won every other race on the 10-race program. He picked up his first win in the second race aboard Windsong Gaillard ($2.40) for trainer Shane Arsenault and then guided Cam Oaks ($3.50) to an 11-3/4 lengths score in the fourth race for Tony O’Sullivan. The Mario Macri-trained Gotta Rocknroll ($7.50) won the sixth race, Lauriesace ($3.70) won the eighth race for Paul Taylor and Warbucks ($11.60) won the 10th race for Steve Watson.

With 322 wins on the year, Zeron trails Canada’s leading driver, Brad Forward, by just 30 wins. He has scored 184 of those victories at Flamboro making him the track’s leading reinsman.
