Trot Insider has learned that Russ Moulton, Executive Director of National Capital Region Harness Horse Association, is recuperating at home after a brief stay in hospital.
Moulton is currently recovering from pneumonia and a lung abcess.
This is the second bout of bad luck this year for the 63-year-old resident of Spencerville, Ont., who suffered a broken leg while leading a horse to the paddock for morning qualifiers in February.
