Four Starz Sue (Howard Parker) and Tivoli Hanover (Joe Pavia Jr.) battled coming down the stretch with neither horse giving in before the former won out by a half length in feature pace of the week at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Friday night

Andreoli Hanover (Anthony Napolitano) left quickly from the three post in this six-horse field to grab the first quarter lead with the timer clicked off in :27. Sitting second was Tivoli Hanover with Sailing Cruise (Andrew McCarthy) third.

Sailing Cruise came first-over down the stretch for the initial time, but it was a short lived lead as Four Starz Sue was right behind second-over to quickly get by. Four Starz Sue was the new leader at the half and stayed there followed by Tivoli Hanover to the three-quarters in 1:23.3 before winning in 1:51.1. Third went to Caerleon Hanover (Tom Jackson).

This was the third win in open handicap races in the last six starts at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs for Four Starz Sue. This six-year-old The Panderosa gelding is trained by Carmine Fusco, the second leading trainer behind Chris Oakes, who trains Tivoli Hanover.

Four Starz Sue has won five of 18 starts this season and pushed his 2009 earnings over the $100,000 mark and lifetime earnings to over $428,000.
