Things started out well for driver Guy Gagnon during Thursday’s 10-race card at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and he kept the pedal to the metal en route to finishing with a five-win performance.

Gagnon swept the Daily Double winning Races 1 and 2 behind Shrimp And Grits (1:55.1) and Write One (1:56.1).

He returned to victory lane in Race 4 following a front-stepping score with Hldontghttoyurdrms (1:59.2) before tacking on victories with Woo Shark (1:55.2) in Race 7 and Darcee N (1:54.3) in Race 10.

Gagnon, who surpassed $25 million in career earnings earlier this season, has racked up 70 wins so far this year while banking in excess of $350,000 in earnings. The career winner of 5,379 races currently boasts a terrific UDR of .384.
