There will be a special meaning related to August 31, 2024 for Riley Noble, as the young horseman notched his first training win on that day at Hanover Raceway.

Noble picked up the milestone victory courtesy Kinkaid Seelster (pictured above), who delivered at 1-5 odds in Saturday's fifth race.

Driver Samuel Fillion asked Kinkaid Seelster to push through from the rail, and the pacer reponded willingly to wrestle command of the tempo. Fillion managed to rate Kinkaid Seelster through sensible fractions of, :27.4, :58.3 and 1:29.1, and the pacer had plenty left in the tank to win by a length over Keepitinperspective (Daryl Thiessen) for the 2:00.1 tally.

Owned by Noble along with Pat Jarvis of Surrey, B.C., Kinkaid Seelster picked up his 10th career victory to give his owner and trainer his maiden-breaking score.

Noble, 23, is also listed as a resident of Surrey, B.C. The trainer notched his first win in his 11th attempt.
