Perfect Posture, with Brian MacPhee in the bike, won the $14,550 Blair Andrew Memorial for two-year-old trotters Wednesday night at Red Shores Summerside.

The time of the mile was 2:04.4. Daisy Duke settled for second place for Ron Gass while Sweetriver Rukkas and Ralph Annear completed the top three.

MacPhee sent Perfect Posture, a filly owned by Melvin Willis of Cambridge, Ont., off the rail to play hard ball with favourite Daisy Duke in the early going before trotting off to victory by two and three-quarter lengths for her fourth win out of five starts for trainer Donald Sweet.

Life Savior wired the field in the evening's feature pace in an impressive 1:57 flat for driver Marc Campbell, trainer Duane MacEachern and owner Kevin MacMillan of O'Leary, P.E.I. Blue Meadow Willie and Hutchinson Hanover tied for second in the dead-heat. Paphos was fourth. It was Campbell's second winner on the night and Life Savior's sixth win of the season.

It will be a busy weekend of racing with Red Shores Charlottetown hosting cards on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. The traditional Holiday Classic is back in Summerside on Monday. Post time is 1 p.m.
