With another world class program of harness racing coming down the pipes, Rollwithhottytoddy will set his sights on the lion’s share of the P.E.I. Colt Stakes Graduates Series Gold Final, presented by Kays Wholesale, on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The $13,000 Gold Final will line up in Race 13 with Governor’s Plate runner-up Rollwithhottytoddy the top choice from post six.The Rollwithitharry pacer is a six-time winner this season with his season’s best performance of 1:53.4 coming last week at Red Shores Charlottetown. Myles Heffernan Sr., gets the driving call for owner and trainer Trevor Hicken of Montague.

Rail control goes to Fern Hill General (To be driven by Brodie MacPhee) from the Tom Weatherbie barn after cutting out the early action last week in leg two of the series.

The Post Time Picks will take post four starter Saulsbrook Ian (Corey MacPherson) to win as he looks to stay flat after breaks in his last two races.

“Saulsbrook Ian is looking to atone for back-to-back breaks. He bounced back with two wins after making a break on July 14th so I'm betting trainer Jamie Smith makes the needed adjustments and he gets back to his winning ways.”

Also in the Gold Final field are Middleton Terror (David Dowling), Island Beach Boy (Adam Merner) and Malignity (Paul Langille).

The $10,000 P.E.I. Colts Stakes Grassroots final, also presented by Kays Wholesale, hits the track in Race 9 as Impeccable Shadow looks to build off his 1:54.2 victory in leg two of the series for driver Merner, trainer and co-owner Melissa Rennie and co-owners Dale and Ronnie Rennie Inc. Howmac Charmer (Langille) is a top play with post eight while riding a two-race win streak, and Howmac Maximus (Damian MacLellan) is 7-2 on the morning line from post three.
