The hot hands on the Saturday card of harness racing at Hiawatha Horse Park belonged to the training and driving tandem of Danielle & Marc St. Louis Jr.
Danielle picked up three training wins on the 11-dash card, while Marc guided those three plus two more to victory lane.
Team St. Louis successfully converged with Village Champ ($6.20; 1:55) in the sixth race, Unabating ($3.10; 1:59.2) in the seventh and Preferred 3 winner Oh K Man ($7.40; 1:56) in the 11th race finale. Marc also guided Shakeitifyougotit ($7.50; 1:59.1) to victory in the second race and White Dancer ($3.30; 1:58) in the ninth for his five-bagger.
Marc St. Louis Jr. now sits sixth in Canada with 129 seasonal victories, with 1,959 lifetime wins. Danielle's 48 training wins in 2020 puts her the nation's top 10 this season as well.
