Two 'A' divisions and one 'B' division of two-year-old pacing fillies will make their last Atlantic Sires Stakes stop of the season at Northside Downs this Saturday (Aug. 31).
It is the fillies' last chance to earn points to race in the Atlantic Breeders Final on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Red Shores Charlottetown. The top eight point earners from the season will earn their way in to the Atlantic Breeders Crown final.
The first 'A' division is race six, where eight starters go for a purse of $10,040. The favourite Saulsbrook Ocean (Dale Spence) will have rail control, while Tobins Choice (Gary Chappell) and Streakazana (Marc Campbell) round out the top three.
Race nine, the second 'A' Division, will see early favourite Bellafornow (Mary Clare MacDonald) leave from post one. Na Naa Said So (Redmond Doucet) and Ezra Express (Marc Campbell) are the other top picks.
Race three will see eight starters in the 'B' division go behind the gate for a purse of $2,500. The top three are Rollwithitjessie (TBA), Wenitrainsitpours (Myles Heffernan Sr.) and Zero Stress Edie (Dale Spence).
The Atlantic Breeders Crown final takes place Oct. 13 at Red Shores Charlottetown during the Atlantic Breeders Crown weekend.
