A 1:53.3 victory at Georgian Downs on Friday evening by Twin B Legend earned him not only 50% of the purse, but it also earned him a spot among the track record holders at the Innisfil oval
.
With Mike Langdon in the bike, Twin B Legend tucked into fourth before moving off the rail and going into attack mode on the way to the mid-way point of the mile. The two-year-old son of Mach Three-What An Attitude brushed to the top on the way to the three-quarter pole, and he used a :28-second closing panel to freeze the teletimer in 1:53.3 – a track record for two-year-old pacing geldings.
The Jack Darling trainee, who won for the first time in four career tries, erased the former mark of 1:55 set by the gelding Deception Point on November 17, 2009.
