Driver Brady Jenson was on fire again at Running Aces on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and posted a very impressive night of work for the second straight racing program. The defending Aces champion driver for the past two seasons had a five-win night on Sunday and followed up with six more driving wins on Tuesday's eight-race card.
Jenson swept the first four races of the night, including an impressive first-over score with PD The Big Easy ($4.60) in a $18,082 conditioned pace. Dropping from Open competition, the eight-year-old Sweet Lou gelding won in 1:51.3 and posted the fastest mile of the evening. Jenson trains and co-owns PD The B Easy with Ken Stauffer of Withee, Wisconsin.
A total of four of Jenson's six winners on Tuesday were also his own trainees and included freshman trotter Fossil Fuel ($5.20), veteran pacer Marktentwentyseven ($5.60) and millionaire pacer No Lou Zing ($2.60).
He also drove veteran pacer Albergo Hanover ($3.80) for trainer Nathalie Tremblay and the maiden-breaking freshman pacer Hopper Copper ($3.60) for the Edward Hernandez stable.
Jenson now has a six-win lead at the top of the 2026 local driver standings over Casey Leonard, and Jenson is also sitting on top of the trainer standings currently with a 19-win cushion.
In the $23,288 Open Handicap Pace, Alta Revelry N and trainer/driver Luke Plano led gate to wire in 1:51.4, holding off heavy favourite Cash Money Twenty (Dean Magee) by a head. Owned by J M F Racing of Freehold, New Jersey, the eight-year-old gelded son of Sunshine Beach earned his fourth Open win at Aces to go along with six other runner-up finishes in 11 starts since arriving in the spring.
There are 11 racing nights left to go in the season at Running Aces including this Thursday, Aug. 27 which offers an eight-race program starting at 6 p.m. (CDT) and will include a carryover of $8,928.55 for the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager starting in race four.
