A potent owner-driver combination stole the show at Fredericton Raceway on Thursday evening, as Margo Fisher teamed up with Gilles Barrieau to produce a
pair of winners on the 10-dash card.
Clay County won the final race on the program in 2:04.1. His victory came over a track listed three seconds off with rain in the early portions of the evening. Earlier, Fisher and Barrieau celebrated a win with Furiously Fast in 2:04.4. It was the third win of the season for the three year son of pacing Triple Crown champion, Blissfull Hall.
Barrieau also enjoyed a win with Linda Hughes' R ES Andrew in 2:03.2. The victory was part of a driving triple for Barrieau.
The feature race on the card was captured by Star Collector in 2:05.3. Lonny Stokes guided the son of Collector Rd to his fifth win of the season. It was the second triumph on the night for Stokes, who also scored with Quality Of Money in 2:05.2.
