Magna Permitted To Sell Remington Park

The bankrupt Magna Entertainment Corp. was granted permission today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware to auction off the Oklahoma racetrack Remington Park for at least $80.3 million

According to an article on Bloomberg.com, Global Gaming RP, part of the Chickasaw Nation, an American Indian tribe that operates casinos in Oklahoma, has made the best offer at $80.3 million. Other bids are due September 4. and the auction will be conducted on September 8.
